Description
Free up tons of disk space with Gemini 2. It finds duplicate and similar files in every corner of your Mac, including Photos, iTunes, and even external drives. And with the Smart Selection algorithm, you can trust Gemini to remove duplicates correctly and safely. Removing clutter and recovering disk space are our specialty, so we made a duplicate cleaner that does both like a pro. Get yourself Gemini 2 and you will.
Features
Gemini 2 5 2 0 Model
- Detect and delete duplicates. Locate and remove duplicate files, even if they’re in remote corners of your system. Gemini 2 scans your whole disk speed-of-light fast, no matter how massive it is. Dig through scan results and hand-pick the files to erase, or better – let Smart Select do all the work.
- Spot and shred similars. Just like duplicates, similars are space wasters. Now, Gemini 2 is after them. Spot files that look alike, see how they differ, and delete those you don’t need. Because you have better use for all the space they occupy.
- Your photos matter. Their copies don’t. Do you really need 10 retakes of the Golden Gate? Probably not. Don’t let copies invade your Photos: find duplicate pictures, look at them closely, and zap the extras.
- You only enjoy one tune at a time. Even if you play the same tune on repeat, one copy is enough. Delete duplicates in iTunes: Gemini scans it to find those five copies of “Space Oddity” you’ve stored up.
- It’s smart, and getting smarter. Gemini is smart. It easily tells copies from originals. It knows which files to keep intact. But the best thing is that it learns to select duplicates the way you do. Gemini’s algorithm remembers what you delete and what you choose to keep. It’s like an apprentice you are training.
- Simple is stellar. Gemini’s carefully crafted to be super simple. Whatever you need to do – view duplicates in detail or quickly destroy them – it takes a few clicks. Because that’s what a good duplicate finder does: makes things simpler.
- Nothing’s deleted for good – until you say so. Never worry about losing the wrong file by mistake. Gemini moves duplicates to the Trash and lets you bring them back in a click. If you do want the copies off your Mac, delete them for good. If you just want them out of your way, stash them in a faraway folder. It’s always your call.

Michael Herman Can you make a Gemini 2 DEC motor cable
Gemini 2 5 2 05
#17034 Michael, Since I had Losmandy install a tucked motor kit on my G11-T i find the DEC motor cable a couple of inches to short. Can you make a cable for the Gemini 2 mini controller to Motor. aruckle |
#17035 Allen Is your G11T configured differently? The DEC cable on mine seems to be a good length, but not sure if you set yours up in a unique way Thanks Brian Brian Valente Losmandy Astronomical Losmandy.com Tutorials and vids at youtube.com/losmandy From: Gemini-II@groups.io [mailto:Gemini-II@groups.io] On Behalf Of Allen Ruckle Michael, |
#17036 Hi Allen, I'm curious about this, when Losmandy installed the tucked motor update on your G11T did you send in your HT servo motors to get updated too or do the DIN cables still plug into the servos in the original locations? -- Chip Louie - Chef Daydreamer Imagination Hardware |
#17037 Chip, I installed the motor from my Titan base on the DEC axis so that the cable connected to it would not block the installation of the Pole Master. I asked Losmandy about the availability of a longer DEC motor cable and he suggested I mount the Gemini II controller on the west side of the mount rather than the South side. Brian, Which side of the base do you have your Gemini II controller mounted? Ive gotten used to the controller on the back so I am seeking a source of a longer DEC motor cable. aruckle |
#17038 Mine is mounted on the back. I don't recall having any issue with cable length, i use a standard dec cable. Let me confirm the cable length i have On Tue, Mar 10, 2020 at 7:07 PM Allen Ruckle <aruckle@...> wrote: Chip, -- Brian Brian Valente -- Brian |
#17039 Hi Allen, You can move the mount 120 degrees back and forth either way in its tripod head interface to achieve an alternative orientation for the RA and Dec cables to run up from the Gemini control box to their respective motors. You just have to experiment. I’ve looked all over the web for different RA and DEC cables that might have right angle plus or might be longer or shorter than the cables that Scott Losmandy packages with his mount, but I’ve never found any cables that are better than what Scott provides.
